Profiles:

Robert T. (Butch) Brown, Jr., President of B&W Builders, Inc. attended Chattanooga State Technical Community College and Austin Peay State University. He began working in construction in 1968 before his job was interrupted to honor his military obligation with a tour of duty in Southeast Asia. Butch returned to his career and worked as a carpenter, foreman and supervisor before starting his own successful business in 1979. In 1995, he decided to offer one of his employees of fifteen years the opportunity to form a new partnership and changed the name of the new corporation to B & W Builders, Inc.

For the last twenty-five years, Butch has gained a great deal of expertise in all types of commercial construction. He positioned the company to widen its presence to excel in building hotel and motel developments, specialized office & medical complexes, as well as forming an alliance to become one of the dominant contractors for metal building construction in this area. By gaining this knowledge and reputation, Butch now serves on the President's Council for American Building Company of Eufaula, Alabama.

Richard A. Worley, Secretary-Treasurer, B&W. Builders, Inc. started working in home construction in the early 1970's. He decided there were more opportunities for growth in the commercial side of construction, so in the late 70's, he expanded his skills to include positions as carpenter, superintendent, and project manager for many of the company's premier projects. After working with Butch since 1980, he became a partner in 1995, where he serves in his current capacity.
